This is one of the paintings I was demoing during the Fall Art Tour of my process for birch trees. Love all the visitor’s who were interested in how I achieved my texture. Birches are one of my favorite trees anytime of the year.
Yesterday was “one of those days”. Loving the season and all the inspiration I take back to my studio after a day like this.

Enjoying all the enthusiastic visitor’s that are interested in my technique of painting birch trees. Today is the last day of the Fall Art Tour and I hate to see it come to an end. It has been so much fun meeting people who have traveled so far just for this tour.
It was a beautiful day for the first day of the Fall Art Tour. There were many compliments from the visitor’s about the artists and their work.
A very creative writer that I enjoy visiting with at many of my art shows handed me this poem. Her name is Katherine, she told me that she saw my painting “On The Rocks” and was inspired to write this very nice piece. Love when my art brings out the beautiful creativity in another person.
Good Monday morning. What a way to start my week. Just when I thought I’d seen a beautiful sunrise, it lit up the clouds above and got even more spectacular.
The natural effects of flowing watercolor is perfect for landscapes. Great medium for getting that misty or dreamy look. It’s just one of the many things I strive for when I am painting
